Denim set, sleeveless vest and long skirt

A structured vest and a very flared maxi skirt, cut from the same plain polyester denim.

Two coordinated pieces, designed to be worn together or separately. The sleeveless vest closes in an asymmetric wrap, with tonal buttons and two flap patch pockets at the bottom. Panel seams and topstitching structure the bodice, and the slightly flared peplum marks the waist without pulling.

The skirt is high-waisted and cut as a full circle. The fullness is frank: it hangs straight when you stand still and opens as you walk. The length falls to the ankles; the hem is left raw-cut, with a slight, deliberate frayed effect.

The fabric

A denim woven in polyester, plain, with no pronounced wash. It holds the shape of the vest and gives the skirt a fluid rather than stiff drape. The fabric does not crease easily, which suits a full day of wear.

How to wear it

• With a white shirt under the vest, sleeves rolled, for a fully covering silhouette.
• Over a fine turtleneck in autumn, with ankle boots.
• The vest alone, over straight-leg jeans or wide pants.
• The skirt alone, with a cropped sweater or a tucked-in t-shirt.

Four denims available: light blue, dark blue, dark gray and navy. Sizes run from XS to XXXL.

Fabric and care

Composition: 95% or more polyester (denim woven in polyester fiber). Zip fastening and visible tonal buttons. Raw-cut skirt hem, with a deliberate slightly frayed effect.

Care: Machine wash at 30 °C, delicate cycle, inside out and with similar colors for the first washes. No bleach. Air dry on a hanger; polyester dries fast and smooths out as it dries. Iron at low temperature if needed, on the reverse. Tumble drying is not advised.

Size

Seven sizes, from XS to XXXL. The vest is fitted at the bodice: if you are between two sizes or plan to wear it over a shirt, take the size above. The skirt is very flared, so only the waistband determines the size: go by your waist measurement. The maxi length reaches the ankles on an average height; above 1.75 m, expect a high mid-calf length instead.

Good to know

• Polyester — is it too warm, or scratchy? It is a woven denim, not a shiny synthetic knit. It does not scratch and is worn over a shirt or a fine turtleneck. It suits spring and autumn; in high summer, the length and the thickness of the fabric make themselves felt.
• Is the frayed hem on the skirt a fault? No, the edge is left frankly cut — it is a deliberate finish. Polyester does not fray like cotton: the look stays stable over time.
• Can the vest and the skirt be worn separately? Yes. The vest works over wide pants or straight-leg jeans, the skirt with a cropped top tucked in. Both pieces are cut from the same denim, which also makes them easy to pair with other blues.
