Denim set, zip-up hooded jacket and wide trousers

A two-piece set in washed denim: an oversized zip-up hooded jacket, and the matching wide trousers.

This jacket takes up the codes of the denim blouson and adds a hood and a zip fastening. The denim is washed, worked with panel seams and visible topstitching on the bodice and the sleeves. The blue version plays on vintage wear effects, the black one on a faded floral print in panels.

The jacket's cut

An openly oversized volume: dropped shoulders, low armholes, full sleeves drawn in by an elasticated edge. The length stops at the hips, which keeps the silhouette readable despite the fullness. You can wear a sweatshirt or a thick knit underneath without feeling restricted at the shoulders.

The trousers

The trousers are cut in the same washed denim as the jacket, in the same colourway. The leg is wide and falls straight, without tapering. A patch pocket sits on the thigh, in a workwear spirit, and the hem is worn turned up, as in the photos. The two pieces separate without difficulty: the trousers pair with a fitted top tucked in at the waist.

How to wear it

As a complete set, with low trainers: that is the silhouette in the photos, and it stands on its own. The jacket alone is worn over straight jeans and white trainers for a simple street wardrobe, or with a long skirt to break up the volume at the bottom. In mid-season, it is enough on its own; in winter, it goes under a long coat if that coat is cut loose.

The denim here is woven in polyester: it keeps its hold, creases little and dries fast, with a slightly more supple drape than cotton jeans.

Fabric and care

Composition: 100% polyester, denim weave, treated by printing and dyeing (washed appearance), jacket and trousers. Lined hood. Metal zip fastening.

Care: Machine wash at 30 °C, delicate cycle, inside out and with similar colours. No bleach. Air dry, flat or on a hanger: avoid the tumble dryer, which can mark the printed panels. Gentle ironing if necessary, on the reverse, avoiding the zip and the topstitching.

Size

The supplier does not communicate a detailed measurement table. The cut is deliberately oversized: if you usually wear a size S to L, the single size offered falls loose, with low shoulders and long sleeves. For a volume closer to the body, choose a fitted piece underneath. Write to us before ordering if you would like us to measure the pieces flat.

Good to know

• Are the trousers really included in the price? Yes. This page sells the two pieces together, which is what the colourways say — "ensemble noir" and "ensemble bleu". The jacket on its own exists on another page of the shop, at a different price.
• Polyester denim — is it as good as real jeans? It is not the same product. Polyester denim is lighter, creases little, dries fast and keeps its colour in the wash. On the other hand, it breathes less than cotton and will not develop a patina over time. It is a choice of hold and care, not a substitute for raw denim.
• Won't the oversized cut swamp me if I am petite? The jacket stops at the hips, no lower: the volume stays on the upper body. Worn with the turned-up trousers and thick-soled shoes, it works on a smaller frame too.
• Will the wash and the print hold? The washed effect is obtained by dyeing and printing on the fabric; it is part of the material's design. Wash at 30 °C inside out and air dry: it is the tumble dryer and high temperatures that damage this kind of finish.
