Reversible fur-lined denim jacket

A denim jacket lined with synthetic fur, also worn fur side out for a second look.

This jacket works on two faces. On the denim side, a classic buttoned cut in washed cotton, with flap chest pockets and contrast topstitching. On the fur side, an ecru jacket with patch pockets in denim. Two jackets, one garment.

The synthetic fur lining covers the whole inside, right up to the fold-down shirt collar and the turned-back cuffs. It keeps you warm without the weight of a long coat, and stops at the hip so it stays easy to wear over jeans or a skirt.

The cut

Openly oversized volume, dropped shoulders, roomy sleeves. The lining naturally adds width: you can slip a turtleneck or a thick knit underneath without feeling tight. Two side tabs let you take the waist in at the back whenever you want to draw the silhouette in.

How to wear it

• Denim side over a black turtleneck, straight jeans and ankle boots: the simplest look.
• Fur side over a fine knit dress and opaque tights, for a softer contrast.
• Collar up and cuffs turned back on windy days.
• With fluid pants to balance the volume on top.

Fabric and care

Composition: Outer in cotton denim. Lining and reversible face in synthetic fur (100 % polyester). Metal buttons.

Care: Hand wash or machine wash at 30 °C, delicate cycle, inside out. No bleach. Do not tumble dry: synthetic fur mats in the heat. Dry flat, in the open air, away from any heat source. Iron gently on the denim side only, never on the fur. Dry cleaning remains the safest option if you would rather take no risk.

Size

Sizes S to XL. Flat garment measurements, taken by hand by the supplier, tolerance of 1 to 3 cm. S: length 61 cm, chest 124 cm, shoulder width 54 cm, sleeve 52 cm. M: 62 / 128 / 55 / 53 cm. L: 63 / 132 / 56 / 54 cm. XL: 64 / 136 / 57 / 55 cm. The supplier also gives weight guidelines, as an indication only: S for 40-50 kg, M for 50-60 kg, L for 60-70 kg, XL for 70-80 kg. The cut is deliberately oversized and the lining adds volume: take your usual size for the look intended. If you are between two sizes, or if you often wear thick knits underneath, choose the size above.

Good to know

• Isn't the synthetic fur likely to flatten quickly? It packs down mainly in the areas that rub, the elbows and the back under a bag. A light brush by hand in the direction of the pile, once dry, restores the loft. The critical point remains drying: avoid the tumble dryer, that is what mats the material.
• Will the oversized volume make me look bulky? The jacket stops at the hip, which keeps the leg visible and lengthens the silhouette. The side tabs at the back also let you take the waist in. With a straight or fluid piece below, the contrast of volumes works well.
• Is it really wearable on both sides? Yes, both faces are finished: the fur side has its own pockets in contrasting denim and the collar folds down either way. You will not see raw seams or a visible label on one side or the other.
