Wide washed jeans with contrasting pockets

High-waisted jeans in non-stretch denim, wide leg and a light wash with a vintage finish.

These jeans play the card of controlled volume. The waist is high, sitting above the navel, and the leg falls wide and straight before flaring slightly towards the bottom. The length covers the foot: the hem just brushes the shoe, which visibly lengthens the silhouette.

The denim is a non-stretch cotton. It does not sag on the thigh and keeps the structure of the leg, even after several hours of wear. The light, lightly aged wash comes with wear effects and micro-abrasions on the front of the thigh, for the look of jeans already worn in.

How to wear them

A belt is optional, but it does define the waist well.

What to know about the size

The denim contains no elastane: it does not give with wear. Go by your real waist measurement rather than by your usual size, and take the size up if you are between two measurements or if you like to wear them very loose.

Fabric and care

Composition: Non-stretch cotton denim, light aged wash. A single colourway: washed blue.

Care: Machine wash at 30 °C, inside out, with similar colours. The first two washes are done separately: washed denim may bleed slightly. No bleach. Air dry, flat or on a hanger; drum drying is not advised, to avoid shrinkage. Iron at medium temperature on the reverse if necessary.

Good to know

• Do the jeans run small? They are true to the measurements given, but the denim has no elastane: there is no margin of stretch at the waist. Measure your waist and compare it with the table. If you are right between two sizes, take the larger.
• I am under 1.65 m — will the length suit me? The total length runs from 102 to 105 cm: the trousers are designed to cover the foot. Under 1.65 m, they will touch the ground. A simple hem by a tailor settles it, or wear them with a small platform.
• Are the wash and the micro-abrasions a fault? No, they are intended effects. The light wash and the worn areas on the thigh are part of the model's design: they give the look of jeans already worn in. Their intensity may vary slightly from one piece to another.
