Long hooded coat with printed panels

A long coat in a denim look, oversized cut with a lined hood, punctuated by printed paint-effect panels.

This long coat plays the volume card. The cut is frankly roomy, the shoulders drop naturally and the line flares towards the bottom, to below the knee. You can pull it on over a thick sweatshirt without feeling tight at the armholes.

The fabric is a woven polyester with a washed denim look, supple and barely creasing. It is lighter than real jeans, which makes the length wearable without weight. The printed paint-effect panels, set on the front, the sides and the pockets, break the uniformity of the wash. The curved seams of the side panels and the tonal topstitching structure the whole.

The details that count

• Lined hood topped with a lapel collar: it folds down neatly and lies flat when you are not using it.
• Button fastening at the front, to wear open or closed.
• Two large patch pockets with a gathered flap, with a drawcord and tips. They are deep and genuinely usable.
• Long sleeves with plain cuffs, no tab or elastic.

How to wear it

It is a mid-season and early-winter piece. In autumn, over a long t-shirt and straight-leg jeans, with high-top sneakers. When it turns colder, over a heavy knit sweater or a hoodie: the volume allows it without pulling at the shoulders.

The washed black stays the easiest to match. The denim blue stands out more and is enough on its own: keep the rest of the outfit simple and plain.

Each coat gets its printed panels when the fabric is cut. The placement of the pattern therefore varies slightly from one piece to another.

Fabric and care

Composition: 100% polyester woven with a washed denim look. Panels in a printed paint-effect fabric. Lined hood. Garment length between 80 and 100 cm depending on the back measurement.

Care: Machine wash at 30 °C, delicate cycle, inside out to protect the prints. No bleach. Air dry on a wide hanger; the tumble dryer is not advised. Iron gently if needed, avoiding the printed panels directly. Dry cleaning is possible.

Size

The coat comes in one size, in a cut designed for an oversized fit: it generally corresponds to a size S to XL. The supplier has not provided a measurement chart; the only measurement we have is the length of the garment, between 80 and 100 cm depending on the piece. The length falls below the knee, around the calf, on a frame of about 1.68 m. If you are over 1.75 m, expect a length at the knee. The dropped shoulders and classic sleeves are already wide: there is no need to allow extra margin to layer a sweater.

Good to know

• Polyester — isn't it too warm or too synthetic? It is a tightly woven polyester, imitating the look of denim. It does not breathe like cotton, but it cuts the wind well and does not crease. It is a mid-season coat: worn open over a t-shirt in autumn, closed over a sweater in a mild winter. It is not a down jacket for deep cold.
• There is only one size: will it fit me? The cut is very roomy and generally corresponds to a size S to XL. The supplier has not provided a measurement chart: if in doubt, measure flat a coat you already wear and compare the chest width, or write to us and we will measure the piece for you.
• Will the print be exactly as in the photos? The panels are cut from a continuously printed length of fabric. The paint-effect pattern is therefore positioned differently on each coat. The color, the placement and the size of the panels stay identical; only the drawing varies slightly.
